Free BX16 TGS 1990!

Post by colin.dibley »

Reluctantly, i'm looking for a home for the BX which unfortunately has to go due to lack of space. Instead of the scrapyard, i'd much sooner offer to an enthusiast (free of charge) who would get some further use, either whole or in parts.

The car is 1990 year BX16TGS. It's been in the family since acquired in 1993. I've replaced many parts over the years. There's also some parts to go with the car, nothing big: spare carb, hydraulic pump & that sort of thing. The mot expired 28.09.06. I anticipate a couple of minor things would be needed for an mot - petrol filler ring & fan blower transistor. Some rust on rear right wheel arch.

The car would have to be collected whole by new owner, located Whitchurch Hants (RG28).

If anyone is interested & would like any further info, please contact me.

That looks nice. Get it sorted Leroy and turn up at the National in it - we'll have a matching pair then... :D

I guess it's a sign of the times that i can't find a new home for my BX. I'd keep myself but can only keep one 'spare' car!

Anyway, ebay are doing a free listing weekend, so i'll put on there over the weekend. If there's any final interest here though in the meantime (act quickly!), i'll hold back, as i'd sooner it go to an enthusiast!

Figured the car would be good for spares if nothing else - engine good; about 80k on current engine, new belt last year & clutch not so long in the past! Also a perspex sunroof deflector (not fitted) available & spare HP pump.
