BX CHALLENGE! A month to go till the biggest BX turnout !!

Post by ren16tx »

:D its just over a month to go to get your BX's ready for the biggest BX gathering --- The "BX CHALLENGE", at the CCC National Rally (13-15 july)
the Challenge will take place on the sunday of the rally (15 july)
If you have a BX,or several!,this is The event to attend! not only is it a ONE-OFF Challenge, but we are also celebrating 25 years of the BX,
WANTED!! MK1 BX's! if you have a mk1,or know of one,GET IT THERE!!
All BX's, any condition, colour, model, providing its a BX, Get it there!! Please!! lets make this challenge something special, something we will be talking about for years to come!
BX CONVOY
who would be up for a BX convoy to the rally on saturday??
(meeting points could be Fleet services M3/ Reading services M4,joining up at South Mimms A1/M25, sat morning)
WHAT TO DO NOW?
Get your BX back on the road, find drivers for the "spare" BX's,pass the word around, leave notes on BX's/talk to owners ect,
let me know if you in for the convoy!
EVERY BX COUNTS, MAKE YOURS COUNT!

Mines counted!

How many have registered so far Chris??
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I'm aiming to be there but we may be on holiday. As a slight aside why don't you do an Italian Job Doc and convert one of your coaches to carry 3 BX's?
Just don't drive around the mountains on the way/way back though

I'll meet you in Fleet for a convoy 8)

We've got two mk1's aiming to be there, and a 16v.

:D there seems to be alot more BX's going than registered! on the register i have some 20 BX's (should be 200!! hehe  ) several being MK1's, but as i say,i know alot of people who say they are going but have not registered, and the register is just a guide,
i know of several BX's in my local area,i will be going out to see them this week to encourage them to come along!
i will also do a little write up for "Clasic car weekly"
i persume that there are hundreds of BX's on this website alone,if 90% make the effort to turn out we be garenteed a fab BX CHALLENGE!

That's one way of getting both his Mk1s up there!

Although apparently there might be *another* Mk1 16TRS available, going cheap........
