I guess it all depends on exactly what the "engine problems" are? :?
Lots of MOT though, so may be a bargain for someone!

Yep..looks that way to me too
Bodywork looks pretty decent too...but I'd like to see it a bit closer.
I'm tempted to give the owner a ring, as the seller doesn't appear to be keen on questions etc.

I have a strong feeling that the bidding won't reach anywhere near that figure!

Err no, I sold a identical car in excellent mechanical order but with a few dings on and only 65000 miles for £150! Personally its worth about £100 tops if its a runner!

That was the point I was trying to make!!!! :D

My Monica cost me £250, with 3 months MOT and 4 months Tax, plus a 3/4 full tank of deisel. That was about the limit I was prepared to pay at the time. Boy, am I glad I did! She has been well worth it up to now. I've done another 2800 miles in her without any problems apart from the usual heater blower and the split boot that she had when I bought her!
Tomorrow, God willing, she will have a full 12 months MOT, and will have cost me the princely sum of £310. That cost includes every penny that I've spent on her, apart from fuel costs of course!

This Athena COULD be a very good bargain for someone, IF the bidding doesn't go silly, AND if the cars "problems" are not that major. Judging by the money currently being reached on t'Bay for petrol BXs, this will probably go for £80 - £120. Not a bad price to pay for a rare BX, IF it's a runner with a few problems, rather than a "project"!

Poor description, engine problems and one sodding photo. It doesn't matter whether it has original wheel trims or any other parts, it sure ain't worth that kind of money.

Dammit! There is no such thing as a Citreon!

How can you not know what kind of car you're driving?

Aye....sticking it on the Bay under "Citreon" also seriously reduces the potential market.
I always check both spellings...so I don't miss owt good!
