I have been trying to fix the GT this weekend. The headlamp panel is now straight for all intensive purposes, but the panelwork behind the bumper is prooving difficult. Im going to fabricate some sort of slide hammer device and use a blow torch I think. Metal work is far from my forte but at least this bit will be hidden behind the bumper, and as long as I can get all the bits that the bumper fixes to in the right position then it will look like a BX again. The bonnet catch panel is now perfectly aligned and the wing tip straight. All I need is the headlamp lugs.
Other things to order this week to sort out the oil leak (hopefully):
New dipstick inner, new camshaft oil seal, new cam cover gasket. Also, if anyone has a cambelt cover for a 1.9 petrol BX I would like to buy it.
Wanted: Headlamp support lugs/adjusters x2.
