While supergluing the engine backtogether after a long time standing (and sliding off supports thank to the 'fake asphalt' ground the car is standing on)
I noticed a pool of oil under the car.
oh shit.
on closer inspection the pipes around the right hand side, just under where the driver sits, where freshly oil leaked, I had a clean around, the oil seems to be . . . GREEN. Indicating LHM fluid, there was a drip coming off a 10mm copper pipe next to two transparent plastic pipes. And the leak looks quite fresh around some of the very thin black painted pipesfurther towards the engine.
So anyone got a clue where the leak could be from? How severe is that?

Impossible to say without seeing the car really.
But in all probability, I fourth it.
Sorry mate, although despite all the doom sayers insisting the job is crap, you can change an octopus with the engine in without too much hassle.

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Last time I had one of these replaced back in blighty they did a cunning repair splicing two of the return pipes. Made it hassle free, not sure exactly but Euroservice, Lee Mill, Devon was the guys that did this for me dodgy geezer called Johndocchevron1472 wrote:Impossible to say without seeing the car really.
