This morning in Derby Red estate, quite tidy but with suspicious leaning rear wheels.

Saw a nice red looking G plate hatch on the way to Halifax (there now using the computers in the resource area - Joanne is looking at something flowery, James is on the CBBC site - how sad is that day out and doing a spot of modding!)
It had black chevrons too!
No I couldnt flyer it as it was on the opposite side of the M60.
Also saw a blue battered ID in Blackpool yesterday, but couldnt get my camera phone out of my pocket fast enough - mind you it not a BX.

Blackpool seems to be the centre of the known BX universe! Seen at the airport tonight in the main car park, a purple hatch on a G plate, tatty but taxed until August ‘05. Near the hangers, an abandoned sad looking white hatch, tax ran out in May ‘02. I think it's a diesel although as it has an early 16V tail gate complete with a nice badge.

I`ve just spent a week Blackpool and not one reported siting on here of my trusty 1.7 diesel hatch!
Mind you it was parked up on the site we were on for most of the week. Any of you around Great Yarmouth last week in July keep dabs for mine, now complete with `sun visor` rear parcel shelf-a bargain from eBay.
I`m after a GTi bodykit now but my local Citroen specialist says they are a nightmare to fit-anyone know if that`s true?
He`s got a set of MK2 GTi alloys as well and some lovely front seats which I think are Hurricane or some sort of spec. ed. 16V ones, says make him an offer but don`t know what they are worth

- My Cars: Historically, lots of BX hatches/estates in the 90s/00s - 16/19i/17td/19d
Recent scruffy diesel n/a estate - "The Red Shed" - is no longer mine. - x 9
There's normally quite a few around my neck of the woods (fairly scuzzy South Hampshire urban sprawl) - I may see as many as four a day.
I was recently watchingan early Mk2 19TRS estate up the road in Bridgemary if my car needed something expensive for MOT but haven't checked it lately. The owner wanted an optimistic £200 for that - optimistic considering there was a big puddle of goo under the front passenger wheel (though probably just a strut return pipe as it didn't smell like gearbox oil) as well as multifarious bits of window and central locking not working - according to ebay.
There's a similarly-coloured E-reg 19DTR in Gosport owned by an old boy who keeps it in pretty good nick, and a white BX14 Preview or St Tropez to be seen sometimes on the other side of the road.
A dark blue BX (unknown model) keeps going past me on the Forton/Gosport/Fareham Road wearing a large St George's flag painted on the bonnet - most unsuitable, methinks.
Also sighted in recent memory: a well-kept white TZD close to something British-Legion-like in Stoke Road, red 19TGD (is there any other kind), a white TZD turbo that used to visit Blake Road, at least a couple of Black/Blue turbodiesels in varying states of decrepitude, a gorgeous TZD turbo in metallic green with an immaculate Monza interior in Fareham close to the civic centre ....
These are just the ones that I can remember. I'll try to conduct some rather more scientific observation to see if they're as thick on the ground as I think.
