This is my third BX and in a perverse trend, also the slowest (getting slower from the first TZD Turbo).
And at £60 purchase price, the cheapest.
In order to get it through the MOT its had new rear brakes, flexi pipes, curly pipes a repair to one of the front strut return pipes and a free set of Firestone Energy Savers on BX rims - it sports Saxo wheeltrims which I prefer to the TGS ones that it came with.
Possibly because of the low spec lack of sun roof the car is remarkably rust free - it has been waxoiled to keep it that way.
A new clutch - £18 off eBay!- has also been fitted - bringing the total cost for a 1700 diesel to less than £250.
Its very original and currently very basic - but that will change very soon when the interior is swapped for a Turbo version and the ICE gets fitted. The 1700 diesel NA lump is staying with its thrilling 60BHP but frugal 60MPG
