Various BX's..

Post by BCXM »

I never own a car more than 2-3 months as I believe it a false economy. However most of my daily drivers since at least May 2005 have been BX's. I love em and apart from silly leaks are otherwise reliable. I describe myself as an enthusiast/part time dabbler/trader with a small yard mechanic and recovery truck and buy BX's not for profit but as workhorses and nostalgia cars. Most of my friends parents had BX's when I was growing up though my Dad never took the plunge being wedded to his Alfa's and later Volvos. I have only had one car where I really wanted to keep and that was my 19 TXD Estate which I have regretted selling ever since

My latest is a freebie TXD Turbo which I'm chuffed to pieces with (thanks Big Mark) I have owned the following since May 2005.

List of BX's which I have owned since 2005 are:

BX 19TRS
BX 14RE
BX 14E MK I
BX 14 Preview
BX 17 Turbo Estate
BX 14TGE
BX 19RD
BX 17RD
BX 19 RD MK I
BX 19GTi
BX 19TXD Estate
BX 19 TZi AUTO Estate
BX 17 DTR Turbo
BX 16 TRS AUTO
BX 16 TRS
BX 14TE
BX 19RD AUTO
BX TXD TURBO

Pics are for my two personal favourites that I restored i'll upload pics of my most recent cars in due course

The Sei Turbo is an awesome cart to own if a little thirsty. Electric armrest cruise supple leather seats 6 CD multi-changer and full colour coding…
They are also the only petrol XM’s that really hold their value. I’ve just sold one for £1100 such is the high esteem they are held in

Holy thread revival!

Ayway, not surprised that BX has gone, as the registration is for a Peugeot 205
