Bringing/collecting from the National

Post by Philip Chidlow »

Hi

we should have a thread where people who are expecting to be able to pick up bits from other members at the show can post a gentle reminder. Also if anyone's bringing anything with a view to selling or donating, advertise the fact on the thread.

So here it is.

I'm bringing along three TZD trims for Tim (unless he doesn't need them any more in which case they'll be up for grabs for what I paid for them - £18 ).

I'm bringing a set of four late GTi trims that need repainting. (Spoken for I think - simonbx17 did want them but also Mallion wanted a set).

I'm also bringing a set of new number plates for my old silver GTi auto (DGK) if it turns up - they're free!

I've got a set of silicon leads for a Mk.2 Phase 1 GTi, a pair if rear light lenses for an estate (used but boxed in vgc), a 16v steering wheel, a vgc spare steel from a GTi with a very good Continental tyre on it, plus a full set of bolts, and, if Leroy brings my replacement sunroof deflector then I'll have a deflector available too.

I'm probably going to bring various BX and GS/A spares to sell.

Looking to pick up various St Tropez bits from Andrew (citroencrazy) and a couple of Grand Prix DVDs from Mulley :)

Needed: 1 BX16 coil (multiplug type - to replace the one I nicked from my other car), 1 tailgate lock securing bolt.

Excellent idea Philip.

Anyone expecting bits from me, either PM me before friday, or post it up here.

Good thread idea Phil.

I'll be bringing Tim's speedlines. Not sure who will be claiming them, but I really don't want to take them home with me as I'm moving house (again) next month so I hope someone will take them!

Someone on here offered a set of Mk 1 tail-lamps and I waved my arm but I can't remember for the life of me who it was... I don't actually *need* them but it's nice to have a spare set.

If anyone has a battery drill and feels like bringing it along, we could fit my trailblazer to the newly-acquired TRS. I own an electric drill but the car's parked too far away from the house to use it...

Think that's all.

Tim.

Do you still want that BX rear panel for your BX? I dont know if I have any rear seat passengers yet, but if not I can bring it along in the CX? Also, I have BX door skin passenger front, and a few other cross members and things.

I'll be bringing the pair of ramps that Marty sent for Dean.

Not collecting much at the Show, as I'm having a trip to North Wales very soon to pick some stuff up from Stewart.

@Doc,
You wanted another reminder about bringing those 4 wheel centres for my alloys!

Only another 4 days to go! :D

I have a set of 5 steel wheels plus good tyres. All have 6mm plus tread, 3 of them are Firestones (2 cheapies).
If anyone is interested £30 buys the lot, let me know and I will bring them but as I may have to sleep in the car at some point I'd rather not just bring them on the off chance!!!
