1.9td estate and 3 others on auto trader....

Post by PiLsY. »

Apologies if anyone's posted these already...

2 TZD's both seem a reasonable enough price, especially if the second one is a 1.9td as the ad claims.

The 16v looks like a decent low mileage one, but perhaps a bit expensive.

Value is in the eye of the beholder though, hence the 1.6 is still there for 2 grand. How many months has that been there now? Must be 3 or 4 as I remember seeing it at easter time?

I'm not. Not in the slightest.
A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
And thats too much!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Far too much. I never get why people ask stupid money for cars to have them sat round for months on end.

Phoned him up for a larf...he'll take 1750 cash. Told him that I thought that 600 - 750 would be more like it if its as mint as described and he hung up.

From a garage forecourt in showroom condition and low mileage I would expect £600 - £750 to be on the screen. You're right though, I wouldn't pay that. Maybe £400 - £500 if it was immaculate, but then I wouldn't pay over £200 for a petrol bx anyway....

Either way, at 2 grand he's off his tits. I want some of whatever he's been smoking.

Maybe there's a glovebox full of smack or something? Then again he might just have filled the tank full of petrol, that probably costs £1989.21 at today's prices
