First, a nice white 16v, blasting down the 3rd lane of the M1 just North of Junction 36. Sounded great, but looked to be smoking a little too much!
Only minutes later on the Dearne Valley Parkway, near Wombwell, saw an interesting sight......a green R-reg Xantia being towed by a mucky red diesel estate!!!!
The Xant looked like it was being rescued after a front-end smash, as the front panel, bonnet, and headlamps were all bent! The BX was driven by an oldish chap with a flat cap and a large Alsatian dog in the back!!@Barnsley,
I was only a few miles from you mate, but had no way of getting in touch, or we could maybe have met up for a quick brew! (I was setting up a new site at a factory in Mexborough).
