On Saturday the old girl did a round trip of 400 miles. With St Helens being in the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final down in Wembley. Arrangements were made for my brother and two nephews to drive down. He stopped at Warwick services them we met him at Hillingdon tube. The wife me end little one I stayed overnight in a travel lodge on the Friday night after travelling in the wife’s 16v escort.
On the way back he stopped again at Warwick. He said he kept it around the 65 - 70 mark (he had better have done!!!) She didn’t give him on ounce of trouble and never missed a beat.
I must say I was a bit nervous as last time he used it a valve burnt out and it cost £400 to get sorted.
By the way Saints won and if anyone is interested the stadium is superb. The only thing with it is it is stuck on the outskirts and not central to anything unlike Cardiff.
Anything about BXs
