Blackpool spot!

Post by cavmad »

A white BX diesel estate being used as a taxi in Blackpool town centre. Looked quite tidy, was going to go for a closer inspection/talk to the driver but Mrs Cavmad politely reminded me we weren`t there to talk cars and I got dragged round the shops for hours on end instead :(
Wonder if Mr B has ever been in said car?

I feel sorry for you, shopping

I shouldn't grumble though, much as I might complain about my wife, we spent Saturday morning in a scrapyard (much my sort of place) looking for an engine for HER project car! :)

I can honestly say there`s nothing I detest more than shopping. Why can`t women shop like most men? If I ever go shopping for clothes I walk into a shop, spot something I like and if it`s in my price range I buy it then and there and that`s it.
Not my missus though: after we`ve been to the 17th shop for the 17th time she might just make her mind up. I have a cunning way to get her back though: the first two or three shops I`ll tell her whether something suits her or not-after that the patience runs out and whatever she picks up I suggest it looks great. Then, just as she`s getting ready for the night out I ask her what the hell she`s wearing. Works everytime but only for the brave :D

And all this in Blackpool, try taking her to New York. We spent two days there recently and all one of us saw was shops, but they're really sensible over there, they put fire hydrants right outside most of the shops, just the right height for sitting on
They think it's all over, it is now!

I usually do (get battered) but sometimes I can`t resist. I`m still trying to muster the bottle to play rodeo sex with her but the thought of a life without my privates doesn`t bear thinking about

Would that be along the lines of waiting till you're on top, telling her that her friend/sister is a lot better at it and then holding on for dear life? :D

On the subject of shopping (digressing a little with this thread, sorry) there is a saying which makes me smile:
"A man will pay £2 for a £1 item he wants, wheras a woman will pay £1 for a £2 item she doesn't want".
Sound familiar?

Truly I am blessed - my missus hates shopping and likes cars :) She tends to be a bit insulting about mine though... I'm planning to introduce the Saab to her in the dark
