Half decent looking TZD hatch eBay (Middlesex).

Looks nice at first glance but missing front bumper trim and wheeltrim. Not huge concerns but is there other things not right too?

Well blow me down... this car is identical to my Meteor except the colour of the seat fabric (mine is black with red diagonal stripes) and of course the lack of Meteor decals and stripes, and the fact it's a TD. Oh and it has all the extra TZD spec bits: rear elec windows, 6 spk stereo and ABS.

I'm gonna be watching this one like a hawk, especially as it's not all that far from me!! Thanks for the spot.

Ask him if you can view before end of sale and have a chat with him if you meet up, you never know he may reveal what he`ll take for it

have a good look around the front end as that front bumper has a missing trim but it also does not line up properly so the car could of had a bump this is a dead giveaway the rubber finisher on the driverside where it buts to the wing also has a bit missing indicating the bumper has moved back and up a little another give away sine but the car is more then lightly ok as there is alot of space behind just makesure it hasnt bent the wings.

I would imagine that was a mistake in the listing, but I'll ask if I feel it necessary. I emailed the seller and he wrote back in answer to my questions:

that the sunroof doesn't seem to leak (he jetwashed the car recently), all spheres incl. accumulator have been replaced, as have brakes, rear bearings and cambelt by the previous owner - who had it for 8 years and "worshipped" it. All MOTs present and other paperwork, no rust, a little corrosion at the base of each end of the rear spoiler - actually looking at the photo he must mean sun damage to the paint, no oil or coolant leaks as far as he can see.

For those who are interested, this car just went for £491.00... which to me is a fair bit more than I was expecting.

I was twitching, cos I liked it - but I just couldn't bid blind... and there was that niggle about the front bumper damage and the fact it wasn't taxed.

Still interested in the Hurricane though, and the 16TRS Auto, also in Guildford.

That TRS auto looks very str8, nice ZX wheels too! take it they just bolt on?

Did the TZD go to a club member? if not can we make him a member!
