From today LIDL are doing a 1/2" drive 42Nm to 210Nm torque wrench for £7.99 reduced from £14.99
Ideal for setting the correct torque on the rear arm bearings and caliper bolts etc.
This is a very good price.

I got a similar spec wrench from Machine Mart for just over £15 which I thought was pretty good value.

I see Aldi are also doing an Arc Welder today for only £36.99.
I think I might treat myself to one of those.

Sorry to hear that Way2go.
I was down at Lidl on Monday morning, and had a look at the torque wrench. It was very similar to the one I got from Machine Mart for £15 except that it did not include the 5" extension bar, and 1/2"x3/8" square drive adaptor. If you allow about £2 for these then I suppose the true difference is about £5. Also it was 42Nm---210Nm compared with 28Nm---210Nm for the Machine Mart one.
I think you're right about the traders and eBayers. For example I got one of the arc welders this morning from Aldi for £36.99 and there is somebody on eBay selling it for £49.99 + £9.99 postage.

When Aldi sell laptops or PCs from time to time, they are often sold out within an hour.
