BX roll cages?

Post by cavmad »

Anyone ever fitted one and are they readily available or do they have to be fabricated?
Just a sort of mad idea I've had hence me asking.

OMP did supply roll cages for BX’s, about £300-400

Fancy some stocking ?? :D

If it’s for competition purposes, would recommend checking their regs first, to see what tube/steel spec is required on build and design.

Fancy a track day as it goes. I know (or am led to believe) you don't need a cage but I'm a bit wary of these kind of things. Just an idea at the moment and fancy something a bit different if I do have a bash at it. Narrowed it down to a Cav Mk2 or Mk3 or a BX if I do ever have a go at it. Thanks for the advice on the cages, much appreciated.

This is an OMP cage for a Bx. Jay W on the 16v forum was making a track day car but we don't know how the project went as he quit the forum.
