Don't know how your French is but... Check this out. Not just BX's but loads of Citroens including a nice Visa GTi - for €2000 (!)

Bu there's a 19 Souppes (16v to you and me) for - wait for it - €15000. (!?)

Anyway, having lived in France I know how pricey old cars are....

I noticed that too. I think the philosophy is that you keep a car for as long as possible, so older cars keep their value. In the UK a car is a status symbol before being a means of transport so no-one wants old ones. Good for cheapskates like me

i think yo may find that the bx for 15k euro's is a 4TC rather than a 16v!

Yup there seem to be two of the 4TC cars for sale there, I ended up looking at the european BX club site, those guys dont seem able to reduce the size of their pics though, slow even on broadband.

But interesting that there are so many advertised, including some other models that are just TOO rare over here.
