Who would want a BX with a hint of rust?

I sure wouldn't want any car with a hint of the good old timworm.

It comes with the territory. Both my BXs have a hint of rust.

But all our BXs have immaculate dashboards

Hmmm....I was asking for that wasn't I?

Honestly though, a cracked vent panel compared to a hole in the inner wheel arch.....hmmm, I know which one I'd prefer.

How many people have a cracked windscreen demist vent panel (you know the plastic thing between the windscree and the dash)?

Does anyone have a photo of an uncracked one?

I haven't seen one in so long.

2 out of 3 of my cars have undamaged vents....

It's not an aspect I'm in the habit of taking photos of, but none of my three BXs had any cracks in the dash - except those caused by attempted theft of the red RD, and that was the steering column cowling.

Rust is no biggy, Grinder, sheet steel, beer, a weekend, MiG, fags, Argon.

Now that you mention it rust does sound better. Easier to fix!
Try doing that to plastic, not to mention having to pull the dash out in the first place.

Dash removal is easy on a BX, it's only 6 bolts!
