Parts available: Breaking Cream MK1
A fairly well-known car to all... Stuart_hedges's old MK1 "Snoopy". Collected last night from it's crash location and trailered back to mine
The bonnet is spoken for (for adamski's GT, maybe for mountainman if he's still in existence) but most other parts are available. I'm having various bits and pieces off it, but other than the crash damage at the back, most parts are available.
Doors are all perfect, wings also spot on. The engine and box are coming out to possibly supply bits for mnde's meteor rebuild, but we now have 3 engines for that, so there will be parts available.
it's an auto too, so someone may want the auto-specific bits of trim?
It's being scrapped very soon as I don't have the space to keep the shell. Speak now.

Charlie, all the photos I ever took of that car are here and here.
To the best of my knowledge Mk 1 and Mk 2 seats are interchangeable. The material feels thin and flimsy but they are perfect except for the driver's seat, which I went through in the crash. I'm sure it can be fixed though.
I want to see all this stuff used rather than binned so don't forget it's all free except carriage. Give it a shot and if you don't like it, or if it doesn't fit, pass it on to someone else.

Due to restrictions on the number of cars I can have here, placed on me by my landlord, the shell of this car HAS to go by this weekend. No iffs or buts, it's going.
If you'd like me to take the interior out and keep it, that's no problem.
Whereabouts are you Charlie? I'm due to be trundling all over the place this weekend in the van, so could bring it at least part-way to you.

I could really do with the glass runners off the drivers front door! In my
Bx ignorance/inexperience I don't even know if there is such a thing
- the glass is popping off the guides although the leckky motor works!
Does the glass have a guide attached to it's bottom edge that detaches
like the Gs's do in time with all that re-gluing palaver?
I've a whole LOAD of Xm's that'll need new homes shortly and I'm in
Swansea...

Ok, no arm twisting here,
I'm probably not ready or in truth organised to catalogue every car and
it's ebay styley good/bad points (if any) but I've been requested to trim
a barnfull of cars to half it's capacity...
and er, it's not a small barn!!
Predominantly in line for the chop are Xm's, Xantiae and possibly a few Cx
although there's nothing wrong with any of them!! I'm a bit of a compulsive
collector who has a weakness for freeads, ebay etc!
Some have been in a state of suspended animation in dry storage for
years, one thing they all are though, is petrol, manual and a saloon!!
The Xm's are largely 2.0i, Si and SEi being s1 - s1.5 (early pre facelift).
What happens usually, is I'm running one and go and buy something
totally different that has some challenge or fix needing sorted that I
solve though I don't sell on the original car but park it in the barn!!
Guess I must be too attached to the damn things!!?
Some have been MOT'd and parked straight into storage when the mood
swing thing takes over me!!
What are you looking for in particular?
Andrew

I can hear Charlie drooling from here
I'll try and remember to take the camera with me this weekend as I'm
planning to call in there sometime. Not sure when though as I'll be
trailering other cars from about the place...
please don't ask!!
Also, you don't want an Xm diesel - you want a V6!!
