Re: TIMS BX BLOG
Went to view one of my other car childhood memories today in Blackburn! I had a two Marinas back in the early 90's, one rotted away and the other I wrote off in black ice so I fancied another.
Rot in both sills, tons of filler in the rear arches, mouldy carpets and no Mot plus a rubbish paint job put me off, it wasn't bad value but I could buy a very nice BX instead or more sensibly use the cash to smarten up the other two, the GT is 30 years old this year and could do with a few jobs sorting, the sunroof for one and the regulator for another.

Re: TIMS BX BLOG
Congratulations to both of you! Doesn't need to be a 'big' day, it's whatever the couple themselves want that's important IMO, without feeling pressurised into a huge celebration (as I've seen) by the rest of the family.Tim Leech wrote:I forgot to mention ...Michael and I got engaged on Christmas Day, we plan to have a civil partnership in the nearish future, it will be a low key affair as I'm not one for flag waving but we are excited, the last two years have been great, with a few ups and downs but who doesn't!

Re: TIMS BX BLOG
Michael and I are both of the same opinion that spending a ton of cash is pointless, the next day it will be business as usual except we will have the same surname and he can boss me around even more!
A few close friends and immediate family for the ceremony which won't be a religious affair as neither of us are that way inclined and then possibly a party afterwards is probably the way we will go.

Re: TIMS BX BLOG
For those of you who read the Citroenian Februarys Bxclusive will be my last for a wee while, I've been doing it for 5 years and lack of time and enthusiasm has made me decide to stand back.
My replacement is someone well known to the club and I hope you give him your full support and send him lots of stuff to publish.

I'm going nowhere john, I shall be still attending shows and visiting the forum regularly and slowly improving the TZI.
