WANTED: Headrest

Hi,

my BX still lacks a headrest for the front passanger, so I can only drive alone (since there are no rear seats). Of course this sucks...

So if anyone has a headrest he could spare, I would greatly appreciate it. Preferably in leader, but I would already be happy to have a cloth one...

Or if you know where to get one, that would also be great! I called the official citroen spare part service of Switzerland and they don't have any headrests and not even whole seats... And the 5 car recyclers I called don't have any BX parts - one of them even told me that if he receives a BX he would simply crush it, as there's no one who would buy the parts anyway...

Whereabouts are you, i've got a couple of beige tweed coloured front headrests that are sat in my garage gathering dust.....

Hello TB2, whereabout in Switzerland are you? I know of a couple of scrapyards with several complete BXs in them about an hours drive north of Basel - in France. There's even this ( or was last May). Don't know the name of the yard however but 'Auto Casse Fischer' in Colmar have perhaps ten complete BXs. I have a friend here who might even have one - I'll ask him this afternoon, and I'm living just over the Swiss border in Germany.

I'm around Zurich, well it's a 2 hour drive to Basel... But I might actually go there for a small trip and get me some spare parts!

I'm just the other side of Schaffhausen - Zürich is an hour from here. I'll ask this afternoon. Don't see many scrapyards in Switzerland - just these ultra efficient car recycling centres!

Colmar is 150 km from Zürich, Mulhouse is nearer ( 120 km?) - there are scrapyards there too but I don't know where

TB2 you can have them for just the p&p, if your scrapyard hunt turns out to be a dead end, let me know & i'll find out how much its going to cost to send them to bonny schwiez....
