BX Estate tow bar quick question

A quick one. Can someone confirm whether the BX Estate has the same towbar as the standard hatchback please?

Depends which type the one that bolts across the back will fit either i think that is the witter one, the other type which also has a bar arrangement which attatches up buy the front of the spare wheel carrier is different. in that these bars are longer so the tow bar goes out beyond the bumper.

Quick answer : they are different to the extent you cant modify either to fit.
Not only length on the bars but also the rearmost (at bumper) fitting angles are located different - on most aftermarket units.

Cant speak for the Witter one discussed by mr Citroen7.
