Heater unit wanted

Post by toddao »

Does anyone have a heater unit to fit my 1.9D? Mine is leaking from the control linkage ( doesn't look repairable) and a new one here is v.expensive.
I will be coming to the UK next month so can collect or if anyone knows what price they are new there?
Cheers!

Are these the same across the BX range?

That's a MK1 19D isn't it?

I have a complete heater unit from a MK1 that I was keeping as a spare for the Digit. I don't actually need it though, and it's somewhat in the way.

Yours if you want it.

I'm in Dorset. I can post if you want, but it's a big bulky chunk of heater....

If a mark 2 heater unit will do (suspect not), there's one sitting in the Doc's barn from my old TZD (way out west
).
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

Because I come so rarely I have to do the whole family scene which is entirely London based but takes quite a while to cover all bases.
Then I'll be in the Huntingdon area for The National, then possibly Dorset ( unless David is coming to National or someone can collect the heater unit and bring it to The National - any volunteers... Stu? I know you're going there soon.. this weekend?)
Then I'll be out in the wild west around Hereford.. no other plans as yet but my time in UK always vanishes in a blur of family/friends and pubs!

If you're going from London to Herefordshire, then it's not a massive detour to come via mine. However, I do intend to go to the national this year, so I can bring it there.

In the meantime, if your heater is leaking badly then the best thing to do is to remove both pipes from the plastic stubs at the bulkhead and put a joiner in there, thus bypassing the heater.
