Hi Roger
I bought What diesel mag on the way to the hospital for my sheduled hand op.
Quite an interesting piece on yhe BX i was astonished to find out how much the TZD that i have was new £14 995 thats a lot.
I payed £900 for mine in 1999 when it was only ten years old.

Sorry not a very log reply i am sitting at the computer typing this with one finger of my left hand as my right thumb comes round from the anasthetic.
And it is getting very painful

Regards Kermit :) :) :)

Hi Doc

Had a one and a half hour operation to hopefully correct the result of a rather nasty accident that i had 38 years ago while i was at school.
The plastic surgeon who rebuilt my index and second fingers of my right hand last year saw the nail problem i have had on my right thumb and said once we have got the fingers done we will sort out the thumb.
So i went under the knife yesterday and today it is bloomin painful.
I am taking pain killers like smarties and cant drive for 3 weeks.
Other than that i am fine.

Regards Kermit :) :)

Ps the wife has just come back from a week away in Italy with her sister
While i have been decorating the hall and stairwell before going into hospital.

Hi Doc

It must have been the pain killers it should have been 36 years ago but still who cares i've had it done now.
The pain is getting better by the day.
Unfortunately i have got to go back tomorrow and have the dressing's changed and from past expierience that means pain.
So i may be off the forum for a day or two.

Maybe i should have gone private 36 years ago.
But the surgeon said that 36 years ago the techniques for nail reconstruction were non existant so i may have been worse off.
He would not let me watch on thursday.
But i did watch when they rebuilt my fingers last year that was amasing. 8)

Regards Kermit :) :)
