L reg estate

Post by ken newbold »

My mate Shaune is selling an L reg BX 19TXD estate.

Full MOT but no tax, colour White, not sure about the mileage, bodywork is in reasonable condition with only one rust scab on the n/s rear wing.

For the MOT it just needed two new balljoints and a change of rear height corrector due to the old one leaking a bit.

I've known and maintained this car for many years, at least 7, apart from when it was owned by a certain Vauxhall enthusiast from this very forum, and I've known every owner this car has had.

The engine is spot on, clutch is good and rear arm bearings good. All pipes are in A1 condition and generally the car would make an ideal workhorse for some one.

Asking price is about £350, photo's will be available later, contact me for further info.

Regards Ken.

At an educated guess I'd think it was in the Wakefield / Leeds area??

I'd be having a word with thepolice if I were you Surrey man.
At least the cow that killed my car was on hoof, if they let them drive a car round your way then thats just plain wrong.
Cows should remain in fields chewing grass and grain, getting nice and fat to turn into cheeseburgers.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Latest news on this L reg car is,

I think it's still for sale, but Shaune's TZD estate put a leg out of bed this morning. Oil everywhere :o including all over the M62 and the engine now has a big hole behind the alternator and same at the back. :o

Just had a word with Shaune and he's decided to keep this car for now and will be taxing it on Monday.

So it will be for sale later with tax and test, in the mean time he's stripping the TZD of all usable parts.
