Xsara VTS

Post by Kitch »

My mate Si is selling his Possy blue Xsara VTS pretty cheap at the mo due to a new car. It's a 99, T reg with loads of tax and decent MOT. It's just had the cambelt done along with a service. It also just had a brand new rad. Mechanically it's pretty much mint, and the body is pretty good in itself.
It's also got Eagle F1 tyres all round and uprated brakes. Air con does work, but needs a regas. Other spec includes rain sensing wipers, remote locking, leccy windows and mirrors etc...it's got quite a bit of kit being top of the range.

It's also powered by the same 170bhp 2.0 unit as in the 306 GTi-6. It returns around 32mpg on average whilst being quicker overall than a BX valver.

Had I not just bought an Alfa, I'd have grabbed this. It's a cracking car, and nothing to drive like any other model of Xsara. The VTS has different suspension, gearbox, engine, brakes and steering rack which has a much quicker ratio. So don't drive a 1.4 pile of poo and expect something equally as poo, just slightly quicker! It really is a nice car.

Anyon interested just give me a shout.

Cheers

Oh, it's about 80k. Theres a slim chance I might bring up to the national and put a big for sale sign in it, but I think someone's already arranged to come see it.

I think he'll take a grand for it if he cashes the tax in, or perhaps negotiate a deal with the tax still in. I know it's got months left on it.
