White is back in fashion at the minute... but must say that Triton green or Black are my favourite colours on P2s.
Although to be honest I'm strangely drawn to white BXs too, because the BX of my childhood was white.
That P2 looks good, and lets be honest, most 16vs have been thrashed... because, well, who can resist?

Ok, it gets revved and used.
But D6C's like to be revved.
Happily the engine in my car is the best EVAH D6C so I'm cool. Yay me!
Although JonKW's idles better than mine...

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Have you had your injectors ultrasonically cleaned internally by the Lucas or Bosch people c/w replacement filters & caps? That made a major difference to my GTi both in performance plus a smooth tickover without any 'hunting'.docchevron1472 wrote: Although JonKW's idles better than mine...

Well, it would be nice if it stayed up all night. Even better if I had somewhere to park it!Big M wrote:I can get you some tablets to help with that if its a problem Doc...stuart_hedges wrote:And it stays up all night!
W2G, the injectors were rebuilt by me a couple of years ago.
It's the valver way, they just cannot idle THAT well, the Motronic doesn't help, but the stupidly aggresive cams finish the idle off.
mine idled lovely with it's last ICV, until it randomly decided the car should idle at 1700RPM, so the old ICV went back on. Idles at the right speed, just a tad lumpy.
Still better than nearly every other valver I've ever heard, but not quite as good as Jon's.
I'll rebuild an ICV at some stage (ie when I can be arsed) at return to the status quo..
