London Bx day

Post by macker37 »

Havin travelled to London for work on Thursday spotted three Bx's unfourtunatly only managed to get one reg of a dusty green model in North West London Reg no J290kly. Other was also green on a tow truck in and around Islington and a third on the oppossite carriageway of the m1 heading south Thurs PM. So a good spotting day anyway even if work was ****.

I am surprised nobody ever spots me in my BX...
former BX 16 TGS Meteor Auto owner. No space or time to do own repairs. My BX is now owned by another member of this forum.

An interesting thought! I wonder what percentage of the cars spotted here (on the road, not Ebay etc) are actually members cars compared to strangers cars? :?

I've only spotted 1 members car during the time I've been on here and thats Marty's. We're out every weekend near enough and never see many other members cars, usually just strangers ones.

I think the Hurricane has been seen a few times in Preston though.

It's a wonder you havn't seen me & Monica over the past few weeks, as we've been through Preston a good few times! Visited Myerscough College a few times as my nephew will be starting there in September, and my No.2 daughter works in Preston TopShop!
We can be frequently seen bombing up and down the M65, and on the Preston Bypass section of the M6/M61/M55 (between Junction 30 and 32 at Broughton)

Give us a flash and/or beep if ya see us!

I'm amazed few people spot me with the number of miles I do to random places and at varying hours..

Although David Rutherford once spotted me in a bus, and I burnt him off in it!

Oh, and I nearly ran AdamskiBX over once on his pushbike....
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I recall you burning me off in the bus on the M32 some years ago now, battered old red TXD estate at the time.......... in fact the one featuring on bxclub homepage with my fat ass in the engine bay

Ooh yes! That was my favorite bus 132, which blew up yesterday...

It may not be the end of the story though... watch this space (well, the blog space anyway)
