-- but maybe of interest to Doc
Visited one of my customers today who was retiring from the coach business, and whilst there had a nose about, as you do,and parked at the back of his yard was an AEC Sabre. A very short run model as i understand, fitted with V8 engine same as fitted to Mandator tractor units of that era.
The customer told me that it was a real flying machine but prone to blowing up engines! There is a spare engine with it.
Sorry no pictures as camera in car not in tanker!
Definitely not a BX --

Not coach in question but some web shots of an AEC Sabre. Might this be a consolation project if 132 doesn't make it, Doc?

Ooh, that V8 is a beast!
But alas yes, the cranks are more fragile than Ming China..
Good thought W2G, but if 132 faikls to come off, then I'll just do the Bristol instead!
The V8 might have a boat load more power but a Gardner engine lasts 4EVAH.

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
