Having just got a BX I was wondering if there are any more meets this year?I live int frozen wastelands of North West England so can only travel a reasonable distance to one.A list would be good so I could pick the nearest.

There aren't really any! CCC's midland section "rally" is in Stratford at the end of the month, and there will likely be a good few of us there but otherwise it's slim pickin's! 
Most members are friendly enough, you're best off organising something with your locals (although they're more likely to see it if you post it in events and not the technical repair section next time
