£30's cheap enough but what will it want for an MOT and you've got to think of transport costs on top. I'd have a go if it were local and if it turned out to be knackered it'd weigh in for more.

Aren't they just standard Grey plastic bumpers, with the bottom half painted body coloured?

Not as such Matt, the top part is textured like most BXs but the bottom is smooth and look real nice when painted but arent as tough.
