How does that work then? Not that it's not a nice car or anything (because it sure looks like it is) but just because the mileage is right doesn't neccessarily make it worth the coin. As lovely as it is I doubt the price is realistic.Roverman wrote:Very low mileage though so worth the money.

i see your point but there was a 16 tgs auto at the national went for £1200 and that was low mileage and original. theres not many cars for £500 that offer low mileage and originalty though is it that a gti gear knob? the bx is slowly but surely getting some recognition especially know matt h got his bx in practical classics i predict that the bx will be the next gs/a of the classic world

BXs are indeed getting the recognition they rightly dserve now and I will repeat that car looks a nice example.
However one £1500 petrol BX and a magazine feature on them doesn't mean an overnight price hike.
Only about 12 months or so back I struggled like hell to sell a BX16 with less than 40,000 genuine miles on the clock for a fair bit under £400.
Diesels have actually lost a little of their appeal now too due to high fuel costs and scrap prices are bottoming out for a while.
As I say it's not a slur on the seller or his car, and he might well get his asking price or more for it, but a touch of realism helps.
