Our completely pointless facebook page

Anyway, we did set up a BXC Facebook thing so as to appear up with teh kidz n that there at http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6373252570

If anyone is on Facebook, then there it is. If not, don't bother.

When I pressed the link to the FB page I got this message so didn't go any further?

Agreed, it sounds a bit like a dodgy version of Facebook, but when I clicked on the link at the top of this page I got taken to the correct site.

I've just manually navigated to the BX page on Facebook, and this is the address:

Is it something to do with the new group stuff that came in recently, before the link was posted, and so it is a conversion from the old
kind of address for a group to the "new"?

Is there anyway to encourage the folks who post regularly on the facebook page to be more active on the forum in any way?

It seems a shame the traffic that passes the facebook page and yet doesnt contribute here much if at all and they generally miss out on the more detailed info available here.

I think it's the instant gratification of Facebook. You go on the page and get a very superficial overview with a few pictures of BXs floating about.
