Linkeh of eBay be here

Cheap, new MOT, tidy, new cambelt, service history and only 60k miles.

Also, it's only 15 mins up the road from me, so if anyone is really interested, I'd be happy to go and have a look over it.

At that start price it will probably put off anyone just looking for a cheap runabout. So would be good to get it in the club - so, is anyone after a TZD Turbo?

OK I sound like a stuck record. Forgive me, but isn't that an excellent choice for a BXagon Challenge Team car? 8)

Surely most of the teams will be using a car they already own, and hence know well?

Not necessarily, David. For instance, my local Citroen dealership asked that if they did decide to field a team they might approach us (the Club) for advice and help in locating a car. Likewise a certain magazine might field a team. Someone I know is trying to persuade his company to field a team. A photographer, who also happens to be a friend, is seriously considering proposing teaming up with an as yet unknown volunteer from the Club in a car he will buy and pay to get sorted, which will then be sold for charity at the end.

So not everyone considering this event is a BX owner.

But, of course we'll have to see if anyone puts their money where their mouth is. Considering it is one thing. Committing is another...

BTW, what about you Dave? Tempted?

Dammit, why do all the best ones have to be in white?

David, do you think if we sprayed it Mercury grey (and swapped my plates over ... only kidding... ) then Lucy wouldn't notice if I did a swapsie?

Nah, it would never work!

I agree with that - the neglected St Tropez Chris and I rescued off eBay polished up very nicely... but Lucy isn't a fan of white on a BX. I don't like white in general on cars, although I think the BX wears it better than most. You'd have to wash it every weekend though, especially in winter!

Keeping an eye on it, if it stays low enough and doesn't go to silly money I think we will go for it.

Nice that. Potential bargain too with full MOT, though I'd want an HPi done (even if it is an old car) as I'd be concerned as to why he's hidden the number plates.

Meh. I have a white BX which has been washed precisely three times since I've owned it.

I've had it three years.
