I have just purchased a new drop link to stop the clanking when passing over small potholes in the road. Unfortunatly, the item came without any nuts on the threads.
Does anyone know the exact size and type of nuts I should fit when replacing the item?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BX 14 replacement drop link
Why not take it to a car accessory shop and ask them for some nylock nuts to fit?
The will be Metric thread (there is a metric fine thread but they are not this size and its seldom used on cars - except for the gearbox level plug - but that's another story) probably M8 from recollection (approx 5/16th inch)
Other sources could be an ironmonger or even Halfords.

I'd take it back and ask for one that hasn't had bits nicked off it.dwarfkat wrote:I have just purchased a new drop link to stop the clanking when passing over small potholes in the road. Unfortunatly, the item came without any nuts on the threads.
