16v back box

Clearly 16v, given its chrome tail pipe. BUT Would this fit an 8v?

Not if the amount of hacking about done to my Hurricane's rear bumper to fit an aftermarket chrome tailpipe trim is anything to go by!

Having liberated a genuine new rear silencer from our stock some time ago, I can report that an 8V tailpipe has a downturned end to it.

I don't see why it shouldn't fit may need to cut the bumper to accomadate
the tail pipe.

Are you trying to make your car a sheep in wolf's clothing.

A nippy sheep, but certainly not a 16v one!

I just prefer the straight tailpipe to the droopy kind...

yes it will fit but it sticks out too far at the back and looks a bit silly on the normal bx bumper.

I've got one of those on the valver at the mo (saves the black one getting wrecked!)
They'll fit a GTi (and TD for that matter) no problem, the amount is sticks out is adjustable if you've worked out how to do it

I take it you're fitting it the valver Tim?

Planning to Kitch as never been to happy with the scorpion one as it doesnt sit quite right and sounds like its farting!

Yeah I know what you mean. They fit pretty well although they need more tweaking than the OE one to stop it rubbing the N/S/R sphere!
