Yes i did

they said that would turn within the next hour ... and they did

they took some details from me and sent sent for the seen of crime offer (he turned up 25 minutes later)

dusted the car for prints but only got a few marks (gloves)

they dropped a crime number later on the same day

for once there was a policeman when you wanted one :)

How very annoying.

Nicking car radios at night is very 1980s.

but I suppose it is a 1980s car.

Out of interest, was the 'hide the stereo' flap up or down?

yes your right (time to go back to slide out radios) :)

but the locals are still living in the 80s so it stands to reason

i'm not sure if the flap was down or not (i always try to make sure it's down)

but i think it's someone who knows me or a mate of theirs who's been told where to look

i keep away from most of the locals now i'll be keeping away from all the locals

the only time that they want to say hi is when they tried to con me into fixing a xantia so they could charge the poor lady a ton

(they saw me swapping the spheres, brakes and some pipes on the Bx)

she later took the car to a independent garage who fixed it for less

later on they tried and sell me someone elses radio that they sole

(they looked rather annoyed when i told them that i rather buy one thats new)

the radio wont be replaced or car going back untill there is an alarm fitted
