Have anyone seen this low mileage car
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :WNA:UK:72
looks nice and clean it's taxed / mot'd until feb. 2006.
But it seems to have a leak (octopus ?

Looks like a reasonable buy to me.
58000 miles is unbelievably low for one of them.

Nice looking estate, would need the leak fixing before driving home though, mind you if the guy has bought the part he must know where it is.

Check his history for the part he bought, doubt this will be any good which could be why he hasn't fitted it.
Also this topic is continued under BEST COLOUR.

If it really is a return pipe and you can get to it then i'm sure you could do a temporary repair with a bit of steel pipe and a couple of jubilee clips.

i think that you may be right there
it's a simple pipe so it sould be a simple fix so why didn't he fix it ?
and why is it leaking so much LHM?

As I said on the original thread, is anyone really after this car, as I'm very ,very tempted, dont want to stand on anyones toes, so please let me you if you are going to bid.
I have done roadside octopus repairs before with a 90% success rate as it's usually the short pipe from the height corrector that goes due to the sharpe angle that it bends round.

Less than an hour to go on this and I've just realised it doesn't have ABS, last one of these I had with no ABS was virtually impossible to stop in the wet, not sure if I fancy going through those experiances again
