The car is the star

Post by maxgreenwood »

This is a 'zero budget' music video i made for my current single 'Frozen Still' starring my beloved BX.

I've been deliberating whether to post a link to it here on the forum as i know it should not be an er.. forum for general promotional activities, but seen as it shows off the BX and the estates load lugging capacity :D ... check 2/3 of the way through the song ... i thought there may be some here interested in viewing. My humble attempt to further the 'classic' status of the BX..

Very good Max - you're quite handy on that ole Joanna and good singing and song too. The collapsible piano is a great touch too! :D

Then of course there's the car of choice of all serious musos! Frozen Still also fits with this parky weather we're having - everything frozen round here!

Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's one of them self playing piano's that! I'm only gealous really

Fantastic stuff mate, I'm more taken with the song than the BX! The rumbling piano riff sort of reminds me of Jimmy Somerville's - I Feel Love!! (That's a compliment btw!)

Good luck with the music career. It may not sound much from a Bufoonery of beer swollen Bxers but 'you got talent'

thanks for all your kind words :D

i was only dying to get the link on here to see what you guys made of it.

A 'release' is a funny term these days for DIY musos of which i am, i've had it 'out there' for a month or so. I put the album out myself in June and got some good reviews and radio but things are pretty low-key and Dublin based at the minute... Strange seen as i'm from Notts.

The song is currently available as a free download from my site if you subscribe to my mailinglist. www.maxgreenwood.co.uk

And the album 'In The Blood' is available from the shop there and is on iTunes

I originally wanted to do the whole song in the car! didn't quite work out tho.
