They were indeed a handful on 'M' registrations. IIRrc Ken went all the way to the Wirral to see one once that turned out to be a bit of a dog.
The dude with that BX estate obviously doesn't live on a main road to/from any scrapyards or that would have been weighed off by some thieving get with a Hiab long since.
Also the trim appears to be peeling off by the o/s/r door, the front bumper looks damaged and, horror of all horrors, there are no wheeltrims.
