rear head restraints wanted, tzi charcoal velour

Post by velosolex50 »

I have just found out that the only reason my family prefers the scenic to the BX is that I have no rear headrests in the BX. So can anyone help me out with a pair? Would love to be able to sell the scenic....
Thanks

Front ones fit with a bit of "modification" from a hacksaw.
this might be a signature

Charcoal velour is quite common... Find a set of fronts (breakers if not on here!) and saw about 75mm off the metal stems - you should even be able to replace the plastic end-caps - and voila you have a pair of otherwise generally unobtainable rear head rests.

Thanks for the tip. The local breakers haven't seen a BX for years though......so if there are any spare headrests out there, please let me know

Mmmh - best to saw off the tops of the metal stem and that way you keep the sprung loaded adjuster bit and plastic bung in place. Oh and the plastic shroud needs removing too. :D
