Sorry Kitch, not easy to spot, but one of the rims is out of shape by a bit. Only became apparent once I'd dumped the rubber. It might balance out. I can't say I'm upset - it's cool, mate - it took me nine Speedlines to get a good set for the 16v!

Don't worry. The spare will be OK too... 8)

Shite, I still feel bad mate. Admittedly I never checked them but then it was typical of that car...everything else on it was bodged or hiding something in some way.
Is it inner rim, or outer? I'm guessing inner?

PM sent (to salve conscience :D ), but no, it's out of shape on one with kerbing marks. They will refurbish well enough, but I need to see if that slight buckling will be unbalance-able... no matter there might be another alloy available locally. But as I said, I bought nine to make four last time!

Both the Speedlines on the arse of the TD are bent to buggery and back. they balance though..

When I can be fagged I'll hoik the rubbers off, heat them up a tad and belt hell out of them til they're nice and round again.

However bent they are, dont throw them out, they be getting rare, and unless they've broken in half are savable..
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Or a damn handy garden bench!

The speedlines on mine are all kerbed to hell and back, but they did balance out - the car felt perfect when I put new tyres on it and got them all balanced. That lasted until some fucker drove into it...

I'd suggest that as long as they hold air, they're usable. Otherwise, garden bench it is.

I've just secured another two to three examples of this rare breed, so hopefully I'll get a circular four out of 'em! And I won't chuck the less than perfect ones...

I cannot believe no-one is going for these...

As a certain Doc says, they are getting rarer and rarer....

And, as many will know they are simply: FTW

If I hadn't already got a few - and if I could afford it, I'd go for them.

I can. Or I could until I saw the bidding was on the move. It's a fairly high start price for some undoubtably nice wheels but a niche market. Look how many adverts you see on eBay for complete BXs these days (hardly any) and there's a great part of the answer.

At the price it looks like they will reach i'm pretty sure i have a set for sale! The dark alloys are absolutley not for winners, the much nicer silver ones are the way to go, then i looks like you have alloys and not steels!
