Wheel bolts

Post by Philip Chidlow »

Would GTi alloys and 16v alloys share the same bolt size/type? I know they are different from standard, but not sure on this point...

Can't see why not.....the 16v has the longer flat faced Speedline type bolts, the same as used on the Xantia Activa and Saxo VTR/VTS.

The Peugeots seem to use a flat faced bolt which is shorter but with a bigger head....thats the only two I know of and can't imagine the BX using that, so yes I would say, seeing as the GTi wheel is a 16v wheel with a slightly narrower width I believe?

Hi,

yes they do share the same bolts.

they have a flat seat and captive washer, and are longer then the steel wheel fixings.

If you want any, you can have a set from me for £10 + P&P

Thanks, I think I might have a set that'll fit - when I get around to collecting the wheels!
