(Well, actually while waiting to be able to afford to put decent rubber on them!), I refurbished the old trims that once belonged to 'ELF' and were given to Mulley some time ago. Thanks to his generosity (and a £10 donation to the BXagon in payment) I got them back

So, thanks to Mr. Mulley, some sandpaper, a can of primer and some aluminium paint: voila - original spec:

MAKE sure you affix some tiewraps on though phil or they will be pinging off soon enough!

Ta very much.

There's some fairly urgent welding to do next month and then the fun starts with struts, arm bearings et al... But the car is a credit to Dave Saville, it's previous owner.

(Trims: They're wired onto the trim rings already but I think I'll tie the whole assembly to the wheels themselves too).

I thought i had the worst memory in the world, but no, its you phil

Just for clarification, i know nowt about this. I am however of the current generation, where i will gladly accept credit for something i havent done

I can't believe this car, i've seen a few pic before, just goes to show distance travelled doesn't always equal degradation. A beauty!

even the driver's door has no hint of droop, it makes sense its been lavished with lashings of TLC over the years
