On one hand it's great that she loves driving a car of 1985 vintage when I know most women would want something newer - in fact most of her friends are taking advantage of the 'economic stimulus package' and trading in their old cars, and getting €2.5k against a new one.
On the other hand, I know it's an everyday car really but it's my car and a classic really that I lovingly fettle to keep rolling and off goes the wife in my 80s museum on wheels!!
( uh-oh 'Mission Control's' looking over my shoulder, reading this, saying : I'm not driving bad am I? I'm saying : that's not the point, it's about my male feelings)
Any thoughts? Do other peoples partners drive their BXs without these feelings? She want to go really far next weekend to visit some friend. She's now saying : how about another car? Yes dear, I've seen a nice AX in Sigfrieds garage. She says: What about the red one? ( the 16v??
