You dont mention whereabouts you are based? Always good to know incase there are other members not too far away to meet up with, & fettle these beasts.
A fair few members on here have a petrol car in their collection, but most favour the diesel as they are very economical & long lasting whilst actually being rather nice to drive for what are quite old diesels by modern standards.
Quite a few of the engines, diesel & petrol were fitted to pugs as well, some had a slightly different set up regarding characteristics such as torque & power i believe. Most are probably interchangeable, hence why valvers get butchered by pug boys for their 205's, they only had the 8valve engine fitted by the factory. Apparenty 130bhp isnt enough for a rollerscate

they go to all the trouble of finding an extra 30bhp
