Hi All
If you fancy going to a festival this summer, check out
www.rhythmfestival.net
The Proclaimers are headlining on the friday, scarecrow, so you could sing along!
We have gone the last two years - its aimed at a more "mature" audience, sells real ale, and has great facilities.

Hey, what do you think this is, the Events & Meetings section? :D

No, seriously I don't mind, just pulling your leg. The festival sounds interesting - we saw Glenn Tilbrook & The Fluffers at another festival in 2007, very enjoyable and he's still got the voice!

Me, personally - life as we know it.

Collectively - plans to build new coal-fired power plants on the Medway Estuary (or anywhere else for that matter).

Sorry Mat for the off-topicness

No need to apologise folks, it's all good stuff! It'd be a pretty boring read if it was just me detailing what I have done from day to day...

Buggeration. I'd taken the head off to investigate a spot of pressureisation in the cooling system, only to find no obvious signs of HG failure. Sure enough, a pressure test this morning revealed a cracked head.

That's not the only head trouble I have today - I was knocking in some fence posts this evening with a tool that basically consists of a heavy gauge closed ended steel tube, with handles. It goes over the top of the post and you whack it down to drive the post in. Or in my case clip the top of the post, slip out of my hands and land on my head. Resulting in this...

Hence I am now laid up feeling quite sorry for myself...

At worst that needs a bit of supreglue (thats what its designed for so dont argue), and a few beers.

As for your head and all the blood, keep the scar as a reminder that post drivers are meant to be manned by two people not one! Sledge hammers are for one person.

Superglue a cracked head? You pulling my leg??? I did wonder about a bottle of K-seal, but didn't. Ho hum. Alcohol I'm not going to argue with, although it might be best for my marital harmony if Stratford wasn't mentioned on Facebook.

Mulley, the way things are going at the moment if I tried to play a CD, the laser would probably somehow shine into my eyes and blind me...
But cheers for the suggestion anyway!

Erm...erm...not sure I remember Sleepy Jean, but I did manage Lying Eyes and Beautiful Day by the Levellers. Falling over may well have featured towards the end of the evening!
So who might you be?

Hi Mat,
I met Kev, AKA 'red_dwarfers' this weekend at the CXM meeting, a pleasant young Citroen Car enthusiast I may say so and has just joined up on this and the XM Forum (BTW, Welcome Kev, I must join the XM Forum  ) he's put a bit of a slide show up on the XM Forum, link to his SLIDE-SHOW he owns the White Xantia in the last frame, (I hope you don't mind Kev) BTW Kev, do you own any other Citroen Cars or have in the past ?
