BX 1.9GTi 4WD -90 -Project

Post by Jeth »

Looks like I can't get rid of BX :P

So, while browsing web, i saw "Give away, BX 4WD"

I thought about it a few secs, and week later i went for it.

It needs some doing on bodywork, but other than that, it's in good shape, no major rust and engine works good!

It hasn't been on the road for past 10 years!

Rear axle bushes are totally broken, but i've ordered new ones.

2 of the injectors weren't working, so it didn't run when I got it, but now it has injectors from 2litre XM, runs :) Still need some more new gasoline..

I started to add some new parts for it and gave it a good wash, looks better already! Still need to replace passenger door..

. That avatar pic is real. It has 600x300x76 intercooler, turbo is from 850 T5 Volvo, should be good for 280hp. Now im waiting for PnP Vems and 663cc injectors from Dp-Engineering, im hoping for 250hp, if this original clutch can take that..

Don't throw the old injectors away as they are probably not faulty, just gummed up! :)
Getting them ultrasonically cleaned and serviced should make them as good as new. Tell the cleaning company that the car has been laid up and the dormant injectors need a "tap" on the metal body when on the machine to get it pulsing again. :D
