By that time the TXD and TXD Turbos were in full swing, so im sure by that time it the TGD was available with the 1769cc diesel, but with pwer steering it would be a nice car, if a wee bit slow.
My opinion for what it's worth, if this is indeed a n/a 17d with PAS that makes it the ultimate BX diesel. I believe the 1700 engine was much better than the adapted 1900 and a lot less hassle than the TD.
Although at only 63k, who ever buy's this need's to budget for a pair of rear radius arm bearings/overhaul in the near future (Unless there's proof of them being overhauled recently) as when the BX's reach the 65-70k mileage mark is about the most that can be normally expected from the rear radius arm bearing's (from my experience) plus the standing/low useage can bring out other problems too ultimately when put into daily use !
Even so it's look's a decent/nice BX for the money for some-one, good luck to who ever find's it a home
Seller has emailed back. The advert is wrong. There is no PAS,however he says interior and body are very good and hes putting more photos on tonight.

Well if you have stong arms it could be a nice car, very heavy to park though.

Yes as the 1760cc n/a and 1769 cc engines are different, you would be better off buying a complete car as a donor, but as that ones done such little miles I would leave it alone and just allow yourself more time!

In a nutshell 'YES' don't even bother as the N/A diesel engine would probably blow to pieces in no time, as the piston's/con-rod's/crankshaft are uprated on the 1.7 TD's plus if you were to inter-cool it too, you'd have all the ducting/exhaust and then the gearbox/drive-shafts etc. to sort out to make a proper job
