Typlically there is an asigned 'area' for the auto jumble where all the sellers will park (much like a car boot). However this means your car is then away from all the people you want to socialise with.
Personally if there aren't many people i know going then i'll pitch up in the auto jumble area. If i know there will be a good social scene then i'll pitch up close to my tent and as Phil says spread my wares on a sheet near to the car.
Its not too important as you find once one person has walked past then they all will.

1984 Citroen BX 16TRS restored and now with fully functional power steering..!
1994 Citroen Xantia 1.9 TD SX (Jan 1994, no airbags but antisink fitted)
Anybody got a window motor for sale?
Im guessing i need one; window went up and down slowly with a whine. Then nothing. No whine just a clicking sound when the button was pressed. Hence me thinking it was the motor??
I even thought it wasnt going to come back up for a while and got rather worried. But i managed to 'persuade it' back up: rocked the switch back and forth rapidly and then after a while it came back up with a tired whine.

Hi Mat/Phil,mat_fenwick wrote:Which door? I should be buying a NSR door from Mike which comes with a motor. I'm sure we can come to some arrangement...
Please be aware that Standard fitment for electric motor mechanisms for the window regulator are different !
IIRC the MK1 has fly lead with a plug on the end where as on the MK2 fitments the plug fits directly into the motor (Also the plug will not fit into the MK1 which has the fly lead as there NOT compatible) !
Also to make things more complicated the number of teeth and/or form of the drive pinions are different too !
So as Aerodynamica/Greame changed both of the N/S doors probably from a MK2 to the MK1 and did the swap of the complete regulator assemblies too it will be a MK1 type of motor Phil's needing !
The /\ quote taken from THIS thread !Aerodynamica wrote:.................
It took a lot longer too as the wiring looms for the window motors, locking and such had to be refitted - I thought the whole thing was going to be easy until I spotted some extra wires on Cyril's front and rear door wiring looms! wtf?
Maybe Graeme can just confirm my thoughts/comments to be 100% sure ?
The ACTUAL motor's IIRC are also handed i.e. N/S and O/S but not front to rear !
So Phil, if it's a MK1 motor your needing I may still have one if I have a quick look before Sunday's CCC meeting for you but I don't which side it's for ?
What I definitely have for a MK1, is a pair of excellent front wing's in a Light Blue Met paint finish (Without the holes for the side repeater light's) , I also have a a single spoke steering wheel in Grey for a MK1 too, so if any one's needing/wanting those item's please PM for info etc, so that I can bring them along on Sunday if required.

OK!! Thinking cap on.... I transferred the whole assembly over IIRC. i should clarify: the 'extra wires' I mentioned were in fact for the 'doors open' warning lights on the dashboard. The donor car was not equipped with these (D reg i think) but did have central locking. I discovered that you cannot just transfer the doors open sensors themselves: they're part of the lock, so I simply transplanted the whole central locking device (complete with sender) from Cyril's old pair of doors to the new doors. The lock barrels are the original ones from the Mk1 transferred over.
The other detail is that the rear donor door was a keep fit winder. initially i thought I could transfer just the motor but as it turns out there is no (or incorrect) drive splines on the manual one so the whole assembly was transferred for the rear nearside door. ( I am 90% sure the whole motor/lifter/gutter assembly of the front door was also transferred directly).
I still have the old pair of doors with their glass and rubbers for you Phil, I now can't make the weekend's rally so will need to either meet you at Stratford or relay them to you via the 'BX network'
What window is stuck Phil? I recall that on occasion the near side rear window sometimes would stick fully down or fully up but always 'woke up' eventually - if it's not this window, keep an eye on it in case it's starting to go too..
